Care to expand on that? I mean okay it has stunning special effects and a brilliantly deep and rich genre behind it. After i watched it a second time i began to dislike it. Great movies are the ones that stick in your head and make you think over and over again or the ones you watch all the time.

    - A Beautiful Mind.
    - Gladiator.
    - Inception.
    - Stranger Than Fiction.
    - Freedom Writers.
    - Good Will Hunting.
    - Forrest Gump.
    - Pulp Fiction.
    - Fight Club.
    - American History X.
    - Gran Torino.
    - The Godfather I & II.
    - Se7en.
    - The Shawshank Redemption.

All great, and exemplary movies that justifiably sets the bar high qua effectual similarities , and just completely renders most incoherent things with it's detailed development, and plot, away -- all of the ones that I listed are simply put; mesmerizing, and beauteous in their own ways, a definite must watch for registrants that still haven't seen them.

I have quite a big list, but I just found it easier to just create a list of movies that I found to be completely mind-boggling worth it -- even though it's lengthy, the quality remains.

Anyways, I personally suggest each and every movie I've listed so far, like the avid movie fanatic that I am, give any of my personal favorites a try(if you haven't already checked it out), and see how you like it.
