[Kaguya Pride]

Arkum lied back on one arm to keep himself up and witness the horrific assault by Toshi, the impact sent Shirega flying so fast, Arkum barely saw that he moved at all. "Is it over" he said softly, quickly questioning his statement because it made him sound as if he wanted Shirega dead. He didn't want that, he wanted him to train him, to be his friend, to be the brother he didn't have but it became evident that Arkum's life meant nothing to Shirega. He faught with everything he had to stop Shirega because it was a matter of life or death but at this point, it just started to seem wrong. The subtle rustling in the bushes signaled Shirega's movement, he wouldn't give up, even with injuries of that degree. Aiko tried to help him, not wanting anyone else to die was admirable but Arkum thought useless against someone like Shirega. "Why, why does he keep trying" Arkum questioned himself, he couldn't figure it out. This act was either his courage and bravory or dilusionary madness caused by blood loss, didn't matter at this point. Arkum couldn't fight anymore, he didn't think he could even stand, but he tried to at least get up on one knee.

[Aiko]

Aiko turned to Arkum for a moment, examining him thoroughly. He had potential, she thought, and even if this mission was basically a failure to launch, bringing a lost ninja home may be okay. It's not like they had a hokage to tell anyone what to do, and if Aiko kept Arkum with her, she could protect him from all of the people trying to kill him. It would be like Arkum was her little brother. Aiko smiled devilishly. She'd always wanted a younger sibling to boss around.

Aiko looked at Arkum while she pulled some gauze out of her pocket and began preparing to tend to Shirega's wounds. "Arkum, would you object to coming back to Konoha with me?"

[Cloud Strife]

Shirega was practically dragging himself along as Aiko approached him. He couldnt even react to her presence if he wanted to,all of his body and senses shut down. As he saw her hand,he stopped which caused him to drop to one knee. The blood still leaked from all his uncovered cuts and wounds. His vision was constantly fading too. "I...have...kill...her...kill Toshi...kill Arkum..." he thought as he remained near him. It was as close as she'd ever been to him without him attacking her or screaming at her. Suddenly,a glimmer of hope entered his terrible vision. A savior for his corrupt mind. The kunai Toshi threw away earlier in the bushes was right in front of him. It was stained with blood but it was the only weapon in reach. His sword was still a distance away and it was next to Arkum who was pretty weak and deserving of death to Shirega. It didnt matter. Toshi was farther away then Arkum was too,giving his next action less resistance. "Aiko..." Shirega finally spoke as she began tending to his wounds. He kept his gaze downwards on the kunai as a smirk came onto his face,for the first time despite all the pain he was constantly receiving.

Though it was not as quick due to his condition,Shirega launched a powerful right elbow to Aiko's head,knocking her back to the ground. It hurt like hell to make any part of his body move but that was all he needed. At that moment,he quickly grabbed the kunai with his left hand and basically threw himself over to where Aiko was and kneeling over her,the kunai held above his hand. "I told him...i told Toshi he would witness your death before his own!" Shirega yelled. No one could stop him. Toshi was too far and Arkum was out of commission. He'd finally get what he wanted. As he brought blade down with painful force,it was stopped about 2 cm from her neck. A hand was grabbing his left forearm,stopping it easily. "Impossible..." Shirega said outloud turning his face. Jirega was kneeling right next to him,stopping his attack. "You know...killing her wont make you stronger." he said. Shirega's facial expression shifted as if he saw a ghost which he kinda did. The Jirega there soon vanished with the wind and out of Shirega's mind right after,his kunai still not piercing Aiko.

Shirega looked back down at her and the pain throughout his body seemed to increase,overwhelming him. He lifted the kunai up but it slipped out his hands and stabbed the ground next to her face. He looked down at his stomach this time. To his surprise,there was a bone spike stuck right in the side of him,buried pretty deeply. "No...way..." he said outloud. He staggered and toppled over to Aiko's left side on his right and hit the ground face-first. He couldnt move anymore,it was impossible now. "Lost...again...how shameful...kill me." Shirega said facing Aiko. His red eye was on her before it simply closed as a result of exhaustion. "Or let Toshi do...it..." Shirega added. After that he was done. His day of fighting had come to a disappointing end. He was completely immobilized. All he could do was rest and think about everything. "You cant win them all you know." Jirega's voice said in his mind. Shirega was angered but couldnt even do anything. Its not like he was going to beat his thoughts up.

[Aiko]

The force of Shirega's elbow hit her face, knocking her backwards. She grunted in pain and saw him grab the kunai, holding it to her. She should have known better than to show kindness to someone as mentally scarred as Shirega. She should have known better... She saw the boy stagger and topple over, and Aiko watched Shirega mumble to himself. Could he really be hallucinating? He needed treatment, and fast. She walked over to his body, which she was now sure was immobile. "This will only hurt a little", she said, prodding and poking his pressure points to allow him to fall into a state of unconsciousness. "Good, now we don't have to hear him yell...", she muttered under her breath as she pulled out her first aid supplies.

She slipped an energy pill and a chakra pill into his mouth, tilting his head backwards to aid him in swallowing(1). She sighed and continued on to treat his wounds. She assumed her teammates thought she was nuts, caring for Shirega like she was, and that's assuming that they didn't think she was a man-eating lizard. She sighed, ready to cry and blinking back fresh tears. She was beginning to regret even going on this mission. Overall, she was nothing but a nuisance, just like Shirega had said. But that wouldn't make her quit, it would only make her stronger. The only way she could stop this was to train hard to defeat Kamimaru. But how? She needed someone to oversee her training. And she knew just who to ask, if only he would wake up...

[Cloud Strife]

Shirega didnt know what happened. He just remembered leaving the rotten world that continued to do him wrong for a moment. In that moment of darkness,he began to dream. He was on a cliff overlooking the Leaf village somehow. He didnt know about any cliffs like that but it was there in his imaginary world. It was a far-off distance and as he grew closer to the edge,he saw the village burning. Before he could move forward anymore,something clutched his ankle. It was Jirega laying on the ground grabbing his ankle. He was knocked out though and bleeding all over the place. Shirega tried to wriggle free but it was no use,it was like tons of weight holding him down. Shirega looked back out towards the village and his parents were suddenly on the cliff's edge,right in front of him,touching distance. Before he could speak,they both fell backwards off the cliff. Shirega yelled but nothing was heard,he opened his mouth with no sound. He tried kicking Jirega but it was no longer Jirega holding him down. It was Jirega along with Sukino,Ken,Toshi,Aiko,Sirus,Arkum,Shin,Satoshi and the list piled on to everyone he knew. They all held him down and as much as wanted to start beheading them,he was stuck and couldnt even say anything. He then felt a hand on his shoulder. He turned and saw Loki standing where his parents were once. They didnt say anything at first but Loki's calm smirk remained on his face with the burning village behind him. Shirega continued to yell with no sound as Loki remained there. Suddenly,Loki's flaming hand met with Shirega's face and exploded,the whole world returning to darkness once again.

Shirega's right eye shot open,confused and bewildered by what just occurred. He didnt know what to think of what just happened and was clearly focused on it. However,he was forced to be cut short by the sudden pain he felt throughout his body. He was back to the forest now where he landed. Except now he was face-up and he could see Aiko standing over him. He was weak but better then before when he was trying to limp. He couldnt feel angry though. The moment of his rage had passed for now and he didnt think about how he ended up there in the first place. "What did you do....?" Shirega muttered after groaning a bit. He tried leaning up and groaned in pain. His whole body ached worst then ever. He sat up and looked around. The trees were smashed into splinters and he could see his black tanktop shredded across the branches. His left eye still wouldnt open but also because the bandage over it and his most valuable possession was not in his hands or sheath. His katana. Despite seeing Jirega before he knocked out,he was nowhere to be seen,Shirega now remembering he was on a mission far away. They were always together and it was hard to keep remembering that he was gone for now.

[Kaguya Pride]

Arkum had just managed to stand up, wobbly but at least he was back on his feet. "Arkum, would you object to coming back to Konoha with me?" rang out in his ears several times, he couldn't believe it at first. "S-She wants me to come back with her" he thought to himself, those were the best words he'd ever heard. Arkum smiled a ear to ear grin, so happy to hear those words, before he could call out his answer, he watched Shirega attack her. Arkum's heart sunk, he wanted to run over but as he did, he nearly fell over. He looked over by their location but the bushes hid them, he didn't know if she was alright or not. "Aiko?" he asked softly, doing his best not to cry. After a few moments of unbarable suspense, Aiko could be seen above the bushes, she continued to tend to Shirega's wounds.

With a long sigh of relief, he slowly made his way over to them. Shirega had just passed out as he limped up to him, his body was mangled beyond anything he'd ever seen. Arkum leaned against a nearby tree to keep himself up, he looked at Aiko as she bandanged Shirega. "I-I would love to Aiko...come back with you that is" he said softly. Looking back at Shirega, he had a feeling he wouldn't be very fond of him coming back to the village, especially after everything he'd done. "One day Shirega, I'll earn your respect" he thought to himself.
